Introduction to Contracts
A The Contract module tracks each family's tuition contract information including the fees to be charged, discounts received, required forms, and workflow stages.
A new contract is created per family each term. Different contract types may be created per family and term such as a separate tuition contract and a transportation contract.
Contracts are a prerequisite for the registration process including Online Registration.
To create tuition contracts:
1. Set up the Contract Charges.
2. Update the Charge Prices.
3. Set up general contract settings in Contract Posting Setup.
4. Create Tuition Contracts.
a. Create Contracts Individually
5. Assign discounts or scholarships to an individual contract.
6. Post the contract to financials.
