Removing Users from a Role
A Role can be removed from a user if the permissions and access of the role no longer applies to the user.
To remove a user from a role:
1. The user's person Id must be known. Find the user's person id on the Demographic > People panel in 360°, or on the portal's Admin page under View Role Assignments. The field is AmfId.
2. Go to Tools > Code Setup > School > Web Advanced > Roles > Roles by Grade.
3. Sort or Filter the grid to locate the record with the user's Person Id (identified above) and the role record to remove.
4. If the person and role is found, select the record and click delete. Note that the user may not have a Role by Grade record if there is a Role by Division record instead as below.
5. Go to Tools > Code Setup > School > Web Advanced > Roles > Roles by Division. Note that the user may not have a Role by Division record if there was a Role by Grade above.
6. Repeat steps 3 & 4.
7. Refresh the Roles on the portal for the changes to take effect.
