Deleting an Account
Deleting an account will delete all references to the account and cannot be undone.
An account cannot be deleted if there are students, contracts, fundraising or financial data. If the account is a duplicate, it can be merged with another account instead.
1. On the Account Header of the account to be deleted, click on the Edit Account dropdown.
2. Select Delete Account.
3. The Confirmation screen will display with a listing of data related to the account and the count of records of each.
Any data highlighted in green will be deleted along with the account.
If there is any data highlighted in red, the account will not be able to be deleted. The data must first be deleted individually.
In the example below, there are 2 payments, 4 ledger records, 2 pledges, and a student that are preventing the account from being deleted.
4. Click OK if there are no records in red preventing the deletion.
