Save Grid Layout
When making any changes to a form's grid layout, such as arranging column order or sorting, in order to save the changes for the future, the grid layout must be saved. If the grid is not saved, the previous grid layout will be restored the next time the grid is opened.
To save a grid layout:
1. Click on the 
Save My Layout Settings icon on
the grid's toolbar.
OR
2. Select from the grid's toolbar View > Layout > Save My Layout Settings.
