Note Types

Note Types categorize the notes in 360°.

 

 

 

Field Name Description

Note Type

 Note Code (ex: FIN) up to 10 characters.
Description Note Description (ex: Financial Notes).

Security Groups:

A - Z

 Assign the note types to groups in order to set up security for user access.
In the example above, the note type FIN is assigned to security groups D & F. Only users with access to groups D or F via the security function Record.Notes will be able to view the note types of FIN.
Note that all note types must belong to at least one group. If this security feature is not being used, all types can be placed in all A-Z letters, or use A as the default.
