Marking Caption Values

Once you have created your marking captions and marks, you will need to link them together.

The following should have already been completed:

• Marking captions were assigned to marking periods.
• Marks were created and assigned to schemes.

In order for marks to appear in the grading screens, they  need to be linked to a marking period id within the Marking Caption Value screen. To set up your marking caption values, navigate to Tools > Code Setup > School > Academics > Grading > Marking Caption Values.

For each mark, add a record for each marking caption set that should have this mark available in the dropdown. To see which caption record a marking period uses, look in Tools > Code Setup > School  > Academics > Grading > Marking Periods.
