Unapplied Payments

The Unapplied Payments Payments that are credited to an account but have not been designated to a specific pledge. This is common when an account has pre-paid or has overpaid and the remaining balance is being held as a future credit. It is recommended to apply unapplied payments to a pledge eventually and not leave it indefinitely unapplied. page is available in the Add Pledge wizard when the account has payments that are not applied to an individual pledge.

 

 

• In the Apply Amount field, apply the payment to the pledge by clicking on the apply button , or enter the amount to apply partial payment.

 

• Select the Auto Apply button on the bottom of the page to apply the payment amounts listed to the pledge.

 

• Select the Clear button on the bottom of the page to clear out the amounts applied.
