Role Types

A Role Type is a job description which will be used to assign users permissions to portal features. A role type may be an administrator, a nurse, etc. Users will be assigned a role type to define their jobs.

 

Add a Role Type for each job categorization.

 

 

 

Field Description
Code The title of the role. Ex: ADMIN, PRINCIPAL

Role Name

The description of the role. Ex: Administration, Head Principal.

IsContacts Subgroup

Selecting this option will display the role in the address book under the portal's communication module.
Sort Set the order in which it will display in the dropdowns. They will sort in ascending order, with 0 being first.
Status Select Active to display as an option in the dropdowns.
