Subjects are used to group classes.

| Subjects Code | The subject name (ex: English) |
| Description | The subject name as it will print on reports (ex: Language Arts). |
| Description (x) | The subject may be entered in another language to print on reports. |

| Sort Order | Set the order of how the subjects will print on reports (the lower sort will print first). |

| Status | Select Active for the subject to be available to be selected for assigning classes to a subject. |

| Report Card Group |
To group multiple subjects together on the report card, enter a group name under which the subjects should print. For example, subject Dance, Art, and Music may receive the Report Card Group of Specialties to print all the classes in those subjects under the title of Specialties on the report card.

| Report Card Group Sort | The order in which the Report Card Groups will print, in ascending order. |
| Report Card Group - H | The description of the Report Card Group may be entered in another language to print on the report card. |
| Show Subject Name on RC | Select if the subject name should print as well, or just the class names. Ex: Under Specialities, the subject Art may print along with the class Art History. |
